A new study from Energia shows Westmeath and Laois are in the top 10 for EV chargers readability.
Westmeath is the third most EV-ready county in Ireland.
In a new study by Energia, public EV chargers were analysed per 100,000 people and the number of new EV registrations in 2024 to giving each county an EV Readiness Score.
Out of the 26 counties studied Laois placed 10th in the list, whereas Offaly didn't rank in the top 10.
Dublin, Wicklow, Clare and Kildare all joined Westmeath as the top 5 most EV-ready counties in Ireland.
