A Westmeath village is set to represent Ireland in an international Tidy Towns event.
Ballinahown was selected out of over 600 Irish towns and villages to take part in Entente Florale event in France next year.
The village has enjoyed success in the Tidy Towns competition in recent years, winning a bronze medal last year.
