A short film on the history of a midlands chipper has been recognised at the Westmeath Film Awards.
The story of Roma in Mullingar, from immigration to the mingling of Italian and Irish cultures, is the work of Conor English, who claimed the top spot at this year's award.
His reward for the piece is €10,000 in funding for the film.
