A woman has been hospitalised after a crash in Laois which resulted in a power outage.
It happened in the Kilmullen area of Portarlington this morning when a car struck an ESB pole.
The driver, a woman in her 30's, has been brought to Midland Regional Hospital in Tullamore with non-life threatening injuries.
ESB Networks are confirming the crash caused an electricity pole to break causing an outage for a small number of customers with restoration expected later this evening.
