Over 200 Midlands Customers Left Without Power After Crash

The fault was reported just before midnight.

A single vehicle collision left 215 customers in the midlands without power.

The outage occurred in Mullingar after a pole was damaged in a crash, in the Springfield area.

The fault was reported just before midnight and ESB Network crews have restored supply to the majority of homes and businesses in the area, however around 60 are still impacted.

A new pole has been erected to replace the damaged one.

ESB Networks is apologising to all customers impacted for the inconvenience caused.
