Offaly is officially out of the running to host the World Ploughing Championships in 2021.
Laois, Kildare and Carlow remain in contention to play host in two years time - with 33 countries expected to be involved.
Minnesota held the event this year with Russia the venue for 2020.
The last time it was held in Ireland was in Carlow thirteen years ago.
