Young Innovators Fill RDS As 2026 Young Scientist Exhibition Gets Underway

Students from across the country are filling the RDS in Dublin this week with ideas aimed at real-world problems.

Cutting-edge projects are on show at the 2026 Stripe Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition, from AI to renewable energy.

This year's expo includes seven projects from Laois, six from Offaly and a remarkable 47 from students in Westmeath.

President Catherine Connolly is due to officially open the exhibition at 2:00pm today.
