The Laois Ladies captain is paying tribute to Donie Brennan after his resignation.
Donie Brennan created a positive atmosphere and was crucial to the development of young players in his time in charge of Laois ladies football.
That's the tribute from the O'Moore County's captain Ellen Healy after the announcement of Brennan's resignation.
In his three years at the helm, he led Laois to a division three title, the All Ireland Intermediate Championship, and this year, success in avoiding the drop back down to Intermediate.
