The former Havard student made 18 appearances for the Midlands last season.
Former Athlone Town midfielder Taner Dogan has signed for Dundalk.
Dogan trained with Dundalk at the start of last year before joining Adrian Carberry in the midlands for the 2020 season.
The former Havard student would go on to establish himself as a lynchpin in the midlanders midfield, making 18 appearances and scoring four goals.
He left Westmeath at the end of last season and spent the intervening time training with Fillipo Giovagnoli's team.
American midfielder Taner Dogan has signed a contract with the Lilywhites.
