Athy put five past Melville without reply,
and Clane United were double scores winners at home to Portlaoise, a remarkable game there finished Clane 8 Portlaoise 4.
Elsewhere there were two games down for decision in the Combined Counties Football League Senior Division.
Mullingar Athletic ran out convincing 4-1 winners over Birr Town
While St Peters were beaten at home to Mullingar Town, that one finished 5-2.
