Mullins to try champion over big obstacles
Willie Mullins has confirmed he will campaign his 2015 Champion Hurdler Faugheen over fences this season.
The Champion trainer has said that his 11-year-old is set to run over the larger obstacles for the first time in the Naas Oil Beginners Steeplechase at Punchestown this Saturday on the opening day of the 2019 Punchestown Winter Festival weekend.
Mullins said Faugheen should be given the chance to jump fences before he retires.
