Fifteen Declared For Irish Derby This Weekend

A number of maiden's are still in line to take their chance.

Fifteen entrants have been declared for Saturday's Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby at the Curragh.

It's the largest field in the race since 1977. 

Trainer Jessica Harrington will run 20 to 1 shot Gold Maze.

The colt is still a maiden but in an unusual year, Harrington's more than happy to let him take his chance in the big race:

Elsewhere today, there’s an eight-race card at Fairyhouse this afternoon. 

The first is off at 1pm.
