Action in Football, Hurling, Camogie and Ladies Football
It's a huge weekend in Gaelic games with the start of the Hurling and Football League and the start of the Ladies Football League.
All local sides are involved and the Westmeath ladies footballers are first into the fray as they play Cork at Pairc Ui Caoimh in Division One of the Lidl Ladies NFL this evening at 4pm
Then the Offaly footballers are in action as they face Cork in Division Three also at Pairc ui Caoimh with a 6pm throw-in time.
Later tonight at 7pm the Laois hurlers face Wexford at MW Hire O'Moore Park at 7pm in Division 1B.
Tomorrow Westmeath hurlers have an early start in Division 1A against Galway at Pearse Stadium at 12.30pm
Then at 2pm Offaly take on Meath in Division 2A in Birr at 2pm.
It's the same starting time in Division Two of the football league for Westmeath who play Clare at TEG Cusack Park in Mullingar and for Laois who are in Dr Hyde Park to play Roscommon.
In Camogie the Offaly and Leinster champions St Rynagh's play Carnmore of Galway in the All-Ireland club intermediate semi-final at Duggan Park in Ballinasloe with a 2pm throw-in.
