The Lake County start their Leinster Championship against Kildare this weekend.
Westmeath will be looking to put a poor league behind them as they travel to Newbridge to take on Kildare in the Qurater Final of the Leinster Senior Championship this weekend.
The Lake County were relagated from Division Two of the National League and are still in search for their first win of the season.
Meanwhile Kildare secured promotion to the second tier for next season but did lose their Division Three league final to Offaly.
