Jack Nolan looks forward to Laois v Down.
We're tantalisingly close to an epic Joe McDonagh Cup final between Laois and Offaly.
The midlands derby is on the cards if both counties win their respective championship ties this weekend.
Laois are unbeaten in the competition this year, and will guarantee their spot in the decider with victory over Down in Portlaoise on Saturday afternoon.
While Offaly have bounced back from their opening day defeat to Laois, by beating both Westmeath and Meath.
They face Kerry on Sunday.
Midlands 103 commentator Jack Nolan says an all midlands derby final will bring a lot to the table.
Before looking at that potential match up, Nolan looks at Laois and their recent form ahead of their meeting with Down:
Throw in at O'Moore Park is at 3pm on Saturday, while Offaly game against Kerry is set for a 1pm start in Tullamore.
