Stradbally are heading for the Senior B Football Championship in Laois this year after their loss last night to Clonaslee St Manman's.
Both sides were coming off respective losses in their first outing last time out.
A tight first half was as good as it got for Stradbally who scored just one point in the second half.
The final score in O'Moore Park 1-11 to 1-5.
Clonaslee will progress to the next round of the qualifiers, to play for a quarter final spot in the Senior A Championship.
