Justin McNulty is crediting his players for maintaining their composure to eventually beat a New York side that tested Laois throughout their Tailteann Cup meeting.
New York's quality caused Laois plenty of problems, leading the O'Moore County at half time thanks to an early goal from Bobby O'Regan.
A second half comeback was sealed through a Mark Timmons goal in the 57th minute.
