Offaly bantamweight Paul Loonam improved his professional record to 3-0 over the weekend.
The Pullough fighter won all six rounds against Jake Pollard to win a clear decision at the Warehouse at the Red Cow Complex in Dublin on Friday night.
Loonam had been scheduled to fight Indian No. 3 Bantamweight Rakesh Lohchab who pulled out of the contest in the build-up.
The boxer, who fights out of the Unit 3 Gym, says he and his team are set to move on to eight round bouts.
The former amateur champion wants to fight for the BUI Celtic title, ideally, against another Irish fighter.
