It proved to be a low scoring match.
Marist College's quest to complete a Senior and Junior Cup double will have to wait after the Athlone school played out a draw to Sligo Grammer in the Connacht Schools Junior A Cup Final yesterday afternoon.
The final match up was a repeat pairing of the Senior Cup final, where the midlanders came out 33 to 29 winners to secure the title for the first time in12 years just last week.
However it was a much lower scoring affair this time out, Sam Fogarty's team having to settle with a draw at 15 a piece in Ballina.
Details of the replay are yet to be confirmed.
