Michael Milne Returns To Ireland Squad For Welsh Clash

The Birr man scored a try in Ireland's opening round defeat against France.

Ireland head coach Andy Farrell has made five changes for Friday’s Six Nations match against Wales. 

Nick Timoney has been handed his first Six Nations start, with Jack Conan also coming into the back-row. 

Tom O’Toole replaces the injured Jeremy Loughman at loosehead prop, with Ronan Kelleher in at hooker. 

Tadhg Beirne moves into the second-row to partner James Ryan, while Jacob Stockdale has been given the nod to replace James Lowe on the wing. 

Offaly's Michael Milne returns to the matchday squad in the reserves.

Scrum-half Nathan Doak could make his debut from the bench.
