Adverse weather conditions played a significant part across Leinster's Minor Championship yesterday evening.
The Offaly minor footballers bounced back from defeat in their opening Leinster Championship round to beat Laois in Tullamore last night.
Their 2-10 to 0-9 win over the O'Moore county mean both teams have won and lost one game each so far.
The other two teams in group one, Longford and Kildare met in Longford where the Lilywhites ran out convincing winners, 1-9 to 0-3.
Westmeath meanwhile were beaten by Louth in group two, where it finished 2-13 to 0-6.
