Offaly See Off Meath In Leinster U20 Hurling Championship

Offaly now have two wins from two.

Offaly secured a second win in the Leinster U20 Hurling Championship last night.

Leo O'Connor's side prevailed away to Meath on a final scoreline of 2-18 to 3-11. 

Liam O'Riordan and Patrick Lyons got the goals for the Faithful, while Odhran Fletcher finished as top scorer with eight points. 

Offaly's next game is at home to Dublin on April 22nd.

Elsehwere, Laois take on Dublin from Parnell Park from 2:00pm tomorrow. 

Derek Delaney's side are aiming to bounce back following their opening round defeat at home to Offaly. 

In Tier Two, Westmeath face Kerry at 3.00pm from Mergon Park, Castlepollard. 

Westmeath were beaten comprehensively by Antrim last time out.
