For the first time in their history, Portlaoise Panthers find themselves in a Men’s Division One playoff semi-final after victory over Moycullen on Saturday.
Despite leading by 20 points at one stage in the second half, the Panthers were reeled in by their Galway opposition.
However late scores from Eric Anderson, James Phelan and Davin McEvoy all helped the Panther pull clear to book their place in the last four on a final scoreline of 82-73.
