Two Offaly players have been named in the Higher Education Rising Stars Hurling Team of the Year.
Kilcormac Killoughey's Adam Screeney and Carrig & Riverstown shot stopper Liam Hoare have been recognised for their performances for their colleges during the Fitzgibbon Cup campaign.
Screeney was named man of the match after scoring five points in UL's semi-final win over University of Galway, while also helping the Limerick side to win their fourth title in five seasons.
Hoare also impressed for his side during the campaign, as he finished with three points during their side's exit against UL.
