Lough Lene Gaels were moments from winning a first county title since 2002.
Raharney 2-19
Lough Lene Gaels 2-17
An injury time goal from Killian Doyle secured Raharney a 15th senior hurling championship in TEG Cusack Park on Sunday after his side trailed after 60 minutes.
The opening stanza of the game suggested it would be a straightforward decider for the 2021 champions, they led 0-6 to 0-2 after ten minutes.
Lough Lene Gaels resolved to bounce back and closed the gap before half time. Raharney reached half time with just a single point lead.
The Gaels' second goal of the game in the second half put them four points up with 15 minutes remaining, that gap was two points heading into injury time.
Up stepped Killian Doyle to score the winning goal.
Lough Lene Gaels came with one last attack, the width of the woodwork was required to keep Raharney in the box seat. The full time whistle shortly followed.
