It was a busy weekend at the championships.
There were a number of midlands representatives competing at the National Track and Field Championships over the weekend.
St Abban's member Saragh Buggy claimed a silver medal in the Ladies Triple Jump, while her club team mate Katie Baldwin finished in 6th place.
In the men's 5,000 metres Jack O’Leary of the Mullingar Harriers claimed bronze behind Andrew Coscoran in first and Brian Fay in second.
O'Leary's Mullingar team mate Cormac Dalton finished fourth and Michael Murphy came seventh after leading the first half of the race.
Tullamore Harriers member Aoife Dunne earned a 6th place finish in the Senior 1,500 metres final, with Madison Mooney also securing 6th in the women’s 800 metres final.
