Athlone Town gained their first win since the resumption of football in a behind closed doors friendly last night.
They defeated Sligo Rovers 2-1 at the Showgrounds, the goals coming from Bradley Okaidja and Jack Reynolds.
The midlanders will resume their first division campaign with a tie against Wexford at Lissywoolen on Friday week.
