The Laois senior hurling manager wants to see a positive reaction from his players after losing to Antrim.
Laois are in danger of joining fellow midlanders Westmeath in Division 2A for next year's National Hurling League after suffering a heavy defeat to Antrim yesterday.
The O'Moore County came into the contest knowing that a win would have secured their status in the division, however it was the home side that took control early on and deservedly took a 13 point lead into the break.
Despite an improved second period from the midlanders, they were unable to get past Antrim goalkeeper Ryan Elliott who was in inspired form in net.
The home side managed to tag on two more goals to run out 4-22 to 0-21 winners at Corrigan Park.
Laois Manager Tommy Fitzgerald says his side have no choice but to look ahead to Saturday's must win clash against Carlow:
