26 Irish sports clubs will benefit from a funding initiative.
Three sports clubs in the midlands are set to receive €15,000 in funding to nurture grassroots talent and improve facilities.
The Heath Golf Club in Laois, Ballycommon GAA Club in Offaly and Westmeath's Mullingar Harriers will all be provided with €5,000 in funds which will also help towards securing new equipment and contributing to inclusivity measures.
26 Irish sports clubs will benefit from the funding initiative, which is set at €130,000 in its fifth year of operations.
€40,000 is divided equally among eight GAA clubs, while €20,000 will be distributed between four athletic clubs, and a further €35,000 will be shared equally among three soccer clubs, two rowing clubs and two rugby clubs.
