The midlands university will be competing in the Trench Cup in 2026.
TUS Midlands' Sigerson Cup season ended in defeat last night against DKIT.
The final score was 1-10 to 3-16.
That means TUS will be playing in the Trench Cup next year.
UL got past defending champions DCU by 1-18 to 12 points to book their place in the quarter-finals of the Sigerson Cup.
They'll now have home advantage in the last-eight, as will TU Dublin and UCD, following their wins over MTU Kerry and Maynooth, respectively.
Queens and UCC will do battle for automatic qualification tonight from half 7 in Abbotstown.
In Round 2B, St Mary's are up against ATU Galway from 6:15pm.
At the same time, MTU Cork take on Ulster University in Belfield.
It's an 8pm start at Dangan, when University of Galway face ATU Sligo.
