We Threw The Towel In Early - Mark Plunkett

The Faithful County only managed 3 points in the second half.

The Offaly U20 Footballers were emphatically beaten by midland neighbours Westmeath in the Andrew Cordon Cup final last night.

Despite been only five points down at half time at 1-7 to 1-2, The Faithful County would only go on to score 3 points in the second period and went on to lose by 18 points.

Manager Mark Plunkett says Westmeath were far better side on the day.
