He'll now be on the course just before 9pm Irish time.
Play at the Houston Open on the PGA Tour has been delayed due to inclement weather.
Graeme McDowell, Shane Lowry and Seamus Power represent the Irish interest in the field.
Lowry was due on course at 6:20pm Irish time, that start time is currently delayed by 90-minutes until 8:50pm when he will play alongside American pair J.T. Poston and Ryan Palmer.
The former Open champion is looking to bounce back from a disappointing outing in Mexico a week ago where he failed to make the cut.
