The owners of a kangaroo that was spotted wandering around a Louisiana town said it was released from his enclosure by a mischievous parrot.

The Kangaroo, named Baxter, was caught on camera wandering around the town of Zachary last Wednesday and was safely captured and returned.
WATCH: Baxter the kangaroo ran loose in East Baton Rouge after a parrot opened the door to his enclosure and helped him escape. Though the animal was found safe, he'll now need to find a new home.
