People Are 'Getting By' Financially

A study of 15,000 people has found Ireland's wealth gap has widened.

One in three people say they're just about getting by financially.

While just over 12% say they'd only be able to cover costs for a month if they were hit by an 'income shock'.

A study of 15,000 people carried out by the Competition Consumer and Protection Commission has found Ireland's wealth gap has widened.

Homeless campaigner Fr.Peter McVerry says the situation is much more serious in some areas.
