Unstructured Five Minute Break Could Restore Concentration

Students in the experiment scored differently to those who continued working.

Researchers at Sydney University found a simple, unstructured break from a complex task helps to restore concentration.

In the experiment, a group of students who were given a 5 minute break in between a class and a maths test scored 57% better than those who worked through.
