All levels of walkers can take part.
Foraging, bog ecology and local history - those are some of the themes on offer in this year's Laois Walks Festival.
22 different trails are planned across 14 communties across the county on weekends in July.
Routes included range from an evening walk in Abbeyleix bog to an 2 hour hike on Cullohill Mountain on July 5th.
Events are graded in terms of difficulty so walkers of all levels can take part, with people encouraged to register for tickets through Eventbrite.
