An organisation promoting remote working believes between 40 to 45 percent of jobs can be made to incorporate flexible and hybrid working.
Representatives from Grow Remote attended a meeting in Leinster House this week to discuss the benefits of working remotely.
Currently Westmeath, Laois and Offaly rank from 22nd to 24th respectively in the number of employees who have the option to work remote, with around 33 thousand individuals working from home at least one day a week.
