More than 750 children and young people have been waiting over a year for mental health services.
Figures from the HSE show 93 of those are in CHO8, which includes Laois, Offaly and Westmeath.
Overall, 745 children and adolescents in the area are on the waiting list for CAMHS services, with over a third of those waiting more than half a year.
Nationally, just under 4,500 people are waiting to be seen by CAMHS.
