A Stark Reminder That Women Can Be A Target For Just Being A Woman - Dublin Rape Crisis Centre

A vigil is being held at Leinster House tomorrow.

The death of Ashling Murphy's a stark reminder that women can be a target, just for being women, according to the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre.

It's appealing to anyone affected by Ashling's death to seek help.
 
Head of the DRCC, Noeline Blackwell, says this was a tragic but rare event:


 

A vigil will take place outside the Dáil at 4pm tomorrow in memory of Ashling.

It's being organised by the National Women's Council of Ireland.

Those going are encouraged to bring flowers and candles.
