The Ambassador of India in Ireland has been expressing his thanks to the hospital staff in the midlands during the pandemic.

He met with Longford Westmeath Fianna Fail Deputy Robert Troy, Kay Slevin, Hospital Manager, along with Yvonne Kane, Operations and Clinical Services Manager and Katherine Kenny, Director of Nursing at Regional Hospital Mullingar.
During the visit, Deputy Troy commented on the Indian community's contribution to the area and in particular on the St. Patrick’s Day float which he enjoyed viewing during the parade last month.
Ambassador Mishra took time to express his thanks to the staff for their efforts during the course of the COVID-19 pandemic and offered his assistance with ensuring a positive experience in Ireland.
Some of the Indian staff took time out of their busy day to meet and enjoy some cake and biscuits with Ambassador and Mrs. Mishra.
