"Anger And Frustration" With Lack Of Information Regarding Refugee Influx

A protest against the move was held in a midlands town a few weeks ago.

A "vacuum of information" regarding plans for an influx of refugees is causing "frustration and anger" among a midlands community.

That's the claim being made by Councillor Sandy Feehan-Smollen, after a deal was struck to accommodate 88 people fleeing the war in Ukraine in Inchmore House in Clara.

The property is currently being refurbished, and is expected to be brought into use in the first quarter of next year.
