It's accommodating 150 men while they wait for their asylum applications to be processed.
Asylum seekers who have been moved to a hotel in Westmeath are claiming their basic needs are not being met.
The Department of Integration has confirmed the 45-bedroom Harry's of Kinnegad will accommodate a total of 150 migrants.
It says, due to the unprecedented demand since the lifting of international travel restrictions post-Covid-19, accommodation all around the country is being utilised to help house asylum applicants on an emergency basis and officials are working closely with the providers to ensure any issues that may arise are resolved quickly.
