Bike parades and charity spinathons are just some of the events taking place in Athlone this weekend.
A Westmeath Bike Festival is kicking off this bank holiday weekend.
Athlone Bike Fest 2025 will see cycling, stunts, and community activities, from tomorrow to Monday.
The family friendly festival will have a Bike Parade through the town on Sunday followed by a race in Burgess Park.
The event will also host a charity Spinathon in aid of Esker House Women’s Refuge and Domestic Abuse Support Service, where people will enter a team to see how far they can go in an hour, with all proceeds going to the charity.
