She was originally from Longford.

The funeral of Sarah McNally has heard tributes to a beautiful, kind and energetic woman.

The 41-year-old was stabbed while working in an Irish bar in Queens in New York on the 30th of March.

This morning's service, in St. Mel's Cathedral in Longford, heard how her loved ones are "shell shocked" following her death.

Her former boyfriend, 36-year-old Marcin Pieciak, has been charged with her murder.
