The MD of a Laois steel Manufacturing company is in support of the government's Accelerating Infrastructure Action Plan.
Tony Woods, founder and CEO of Midland Steel believes the plan will have a positive impact on what happens on a daily basis in the construction industry.
The legislation aims to cut delays and provide more certainty for building essential projects, including housing, roads, water treatment plants, energy substations, and hospitals.
Key elements include emergency legislation, judicial review reform, higher approval thresholds and a new simplification unit.
