It's to highlight uncertainty surrounding a just transition in the Midlands.
The Bord na Móna Workers & Pensioners Movement is organising a protest next week, to highlight the ongoing uncertainty over a Just Transition for the midlands.
The ESB is to demolish the West Offaly Power Station, after it was found peat-generation is no longer viable.
With hundreds of staff set to be let go, there are concerns over the availabilty of pensions to current and past ESB and Bord na Móna staff.
The protest is being arranged for Shannonbridge, next Saturday, 1st February.
