The Edenderry Councillor insists the health service owes Offaly Hospice Committee €312k.
The HSE is lacking in "integrity" and "sincerity" when it comes to money allegedly owed to Offaly Hospice Committee.
That's according to Independent Ireland Councillor Fergus McDonnell who says the Health Service recently told committee members it has "no obligation" to pay money back.
The committee insists senior management in the HSE promised to repay €312,000 spent developing a proposal to construct a hospice for Offaly on the grounds of Tullamore Hospital.
Those plans were never realised and a site on Arden Lane has since been selected for a facility to service the entire Midlands region.
