Independent Laois councillor James Kelly says anti-social behaviour is once again affecting the area, with a number of cars gathering along the JJ Fanning Pass and a car also being burned-out.
Gardaí have also reissued an appeal for people to not engage in this behaviour, and for anyone experiencing such issues to contact Birr or Portlaoise Garda Stations.
