Calls For Education Minister To Address School Need In Westmeath

There's a lack of non-denominational options in the county.

There's calls for the Education Minister to acknowledge the increasing need for non-denominational primary schools in Westmeath. 

At the moment there's no multi-faith school in the Athlone-Moate District. 

That's despite the latest CSO data detailing that around 1 in 8 people in the county are of a religion other than Roman Catholic or Church of Ireland.
