The Government is being accused of failing to recognise the additional needs and maintenance required for 'bog based roads' across Offaly.
Sinn Féin Councillor, Aoife Masterson, is highlighting the issue as a care home outside Tullamore has been impacted by the poor quality of the road that services it, for both staff and residents.
Bog roads hold a unique structure and require regular repairs and replacing works.
